Janet Poole House Apartments are budget, basic quality apartments, offering low cost accommodation in Central London. They are operated by The Acorn Group and are let primarily to teachers, overseas students and visiting tourists. For Central London their low rates offer excellent value for money.
Janet Poole House is located in 200 year old Georgian Town Houses in the heart of Bloomsbury, within walking distance of many famous London landmarks including, The British Museum, The British Library, University College London (Darwin lived opposite!); Oxford Street, Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus, and theatre land making Bloomsbury one of the liveliest areas of the Capital.
The building comprises of three 18th Century Grade II listed, merchant's homes which have been sympathetically joined and converted to offer a variety of studio accommodation. There are 40 studios over 6 floors. There is no lift in the building.
The accommodations range from self-contained twin studio with separate kitchen and shower room; a standard en-suite studio with integral kitchen for up to 2 persons, family studios accommodating up to 3 people.
